Wood Products
All sourced and graded in Cameroon
Every order starts with one of these categories. Each covers several species from our catalogue, availability shifts with the season and the concession, so ask for current stock and pricing on any of them.
African Round Log Species
Raw logs, felled and cut to length, sold unprocessed so a sawmill or veneer manufacturer can control their own cutting yield. Cameroon permits round log export for approved species under quota, unlike some neighbouring countries with a full log export ban, so this stays a live option for buyers who want to mill to their own spec.
African Sawn Timber
Logs milled into planks, beams and boards, what UK buyers call sawn timber and US buyers call lumber. Available rough-sawn or dressed, in kiln-dried (KD) or air-dried (AD) specification depending on the end use.
African Hardwood Slabs
Large single-piece boards cut from big-diameter logs, live-edge or straight-edge. African hardwoods grow to diameters most temperate species can't match, which is what makes wide, one-piece slabs possible in the first place.
Wood Boards
Processed panel products including blockboard (a hardwood veneer face over a lightweight Ayous or Okoumé core), edge-glued panels and finger-jointed boards. Built for consistent width and stability where a solid slab isn't necessary.
Plywood
Thin veneer layers glued cross-grain for strength and stability, including marine-grade plywood made from Okoumé, one of the region's genuine specialties and a standard material for boat building and wet or humid environments.
Outside Wood
Naturally durable species suited to exterior use without heavy chemical treatment. Their density and natural oils resist rot and termites, which keeps maintenance costs down for the buyer compared to treated softwood.

What the grading and drying terms actually mean.
Grading
- Standard grades follow rules comparable to ATIBT practice used across Central African exporters
- Round logs are graded on diameter, straightness and defect count before loading
- Sawn timber and boards are typically graded FAS/1C or better, the top export grade
- Grading is done before a lot is offered, not after a buyer complains
Drying
- KD (kiln-dried): moisture content brought down to a target range in a kiln, standard for European joinery and flooring orders
- AD (air-dried): dried naturally over time, common for structural and construction-grade orders
- Green/undried: available for some round log and sawn timber orders where the buyer will process further on arrival
- Tell us the end use and we'll recommend the right spec
