African hardwoods grow to diameters most temperate species can’t match, which is what makes wide, one-piece slabs possible in the first place. Available live-edge (natural bark-line edge retained) or straight-edge, rough-sawn or kiln-dried for furniture-grade stability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy a single slab?

Yes. Slabs don’t require a full container order, we ship single pieces via consolidated freight. Tell us the size and species you’re after and we’ll check current stock.

Do you send photos and measurements before I pay?

Yes, always. You’ll see the actual slab, width, length, thickness and grain, before committing to purchase, not a generic representative image.

Can slabs be kiln-dried for stability?

Yes, on request. Furniture-grade slabs are usually better kiln-dried to a stable moisture content first, we’ll advise based on the species and your climate if you’re not sure.
