Blockboard pairs a hardwood veneer face, usually Sapele or Iroko, with a lightweight Ayous or Okoumé core, giving you the look of solid hardwood at a fraction of the weight and movement. Edge-glued and finger-jointed panels are available where a wider, uninterrupted surface matters more than a veneered face.
